We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, noprofit organization.
Our mission is to pass on hunting traditions to future generations. Introducing them into Waterfowl hunting and conservation, Teaching safe practices while in the field!
A little introduction… My name is Kyle Keeports, I’m a passionate waterfowler who loves getting new hunters into the marsh! I also thoroughly enjoy doing work within our community, helping others any way I possibly can. I just so happen to be fortunate enough to find a group of guys who enjoy doing the same thing. So I took a leap and started this nonprofit organization.
We have so much to share with you about who we are and what we do. To start with, we are all passionate waterfowlers who love to pass on our hunting traditions with future generations! To do this we work to take youth and adults into the marsh. Introducing them into waterfowl hunting at no cost to anyone. We provide all necessary gear needed, including snacks!
What makes Muddy Duck different from other Waterfowl organizations?
All of our efforts are focused right here in our local community. That means every single dollar we raise stays right here. We use the funds to get youth into the outdoors, educate them on conservation efforts and teach them safe practices in the field.
Our primary mission is getting youth into the marsh who otherwise wouldn’t have an opportunity. When we do this, we supply 100% of the gear needed and that’s to include any family members who wish to join for the hunts. This is made possible by all the support from our sponsors and other supporters. Every time you make a donation or come to an event; you’re helping other kids dreams come true!
We also have field days & fishing derbies where we teach new generations the proper way to do things in the marsh to remain safe and to have a successful hunt. We show them how to work and watch a dog, and be mindful on those in there surrounding area.
We also work to get veterans out offering the gear to them as we do youth.
We work with children’s hospitals with donations for kids in there and also for us to show up in person to brighten days.
We also offer support/scholarships for nurses and teachers who are going through school, among many other things as well.
We look forward to a chance to tell you more…
